The "Terrain" mode offers "pop-up" alerts when proximity conflict loom ahead- providing and important extra margin of safety. The built-in 12 channel GPS receiver/antenna provides fast GPS acquisition and terrific accuracy. Back on the ground, the optional "MapSource CD downloads and user-selectable formats enable the iQue 3600a to move easily from airplane to automobile at the press of a button. Not only does this "super PDA" keep track of addresses, contacts, and appointments- but it can also locate and route you to them automatically with turn-by-turn voice directions.
